This policy explains what personal information Sirens Netball Club collects, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). We only ask for the information we need, and we keep it safe.
Who we are+
Sirens Netball Club is a junior netball club based in Sidcup. For any questions about your data, contact us at netballclubsirens@gmail.com.
What information we collect+
- Your name and contact details (email, and phone if you provide it).
- Your player’s first name and school year.
- Enquiry or booking details you send us through our forms.
- Membership, consent and medical information, collected securely through our club membership app, not through this website.
- Holiday camp bookings, including medical and consent details, are made through a Google Form and kept in the club’s Google account.
How we use your information+
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free taster.
- To organise and run sessions and keep you informed about the club.
- To keep players safe (safeguarding and emergency contact).
- To administer membership and payments after joining.
Our lawful basis+
We process your information on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in running the club. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How we store and protect it+
Your information is stored securely and only accessed by those who need it to run the club. Sensitive membership and medical data is held in our club membership app, kept separate and never stored on this website. We do not sell your data.
Sharing your information+
We may share limited information with England Netball as part of club affiliation. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing.
Your rights+
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to withdraw consent. To do any of these, email us at netballclubsirens@gmail.com.
Cookies+
We only use analytics cookies if you say yes. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, for example how many people view the Book a free trial page. This helps us improve the website for families.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_G5TG54K9LP. They last up to 2 years. They do not tell us who you are, and we never send your name, email or anything you type into our forms to Google. We have turned off Google advertising features and do not use cookies for adverts.
We also save a small note in your browser that remembers your cookie choice for 12 months.
